AIG: ALL DAY , EVERY DAY
Lee County Schools Vision for AIG: Lee County Schools will develop a mindset of talent development. Recognizing that gifted behaviors may be evident in a student's aptitude, academic performance, motivation, or social interactions, Lee County Schools is committed to providing an academic, intellectual, and social/emotional support system so that students can develop their full potential. In partnership with parents and community, Lee County Schools will nurture, identify, and serve gifted potential in students.
All students in grades K-2 will be served through the PETS program. AIG Specialist will go to each classroom and teach lessons to all students.
Teacher and AIG Specialist will recommend students in K-2 to receive Talent Development in a small group setting (this begins after whole group lessons are completed).
Identified 3rd, 4th and 5th graders will receive pull-out services with the AIG Specialist.
